Over the last quarter I’ve been working with Rosie Coppin of Positive Goals & Solutions, an established and successful business & life coach that was interested in having her businesses website updated. Rosie’s last website had been built on Joomla and was in need of a design ‘freshen up’ – I consulted with Rosie to establish some of the design changes she was after and also to explore some new avenues she was interested in pursuing.
Rosie had some interesting areas she wanted to explore:
- Integration with MailChimp (for Marketing) & JigsawBox (for Online Coaching)
- Implementation of an Online Store for selling products
- Integrated Blog & Company Website to personalize her brand.
I was able to undertake some solution research for Rosie, identifying key software solutions that would facilitate some of the new features she wanted on her website. Having this time available always ensures you have at least considered the available options and make an educated choice of the ‘best fit’ solution for the project.
We also agreed to shift platforms over to WordPress as this would provision an excellent platform for both CMS & blogging usage. The WordPress platform is very intuitive for new users to pick up so more often that not is a very small ask in terms of a cultural change.
Working with Rosie on this project was a fantastic opportunity to work with a professional that knew exactly what they wanted to get out of their website and how they saw their website working *for* them. It also meant I could give my detective skills a little rest on this project! 🙂
Take a look at the finished project if you get five, I think you’ll agree it’s a fantastic result!
